(FIT) Business Through Computers

 

Business through computers: training people in IT to work in a modern office environment. The programme aims to provide learners with the skill, knowledge and competence in the core areas of e-Business Studies, the Internet and Web Authoring. Also gain strong skills in payroll and computerised book-keeping – essential skills in a business environment. This course is supported by F.I.T.

How do I get in?
  • Aptitude test set by FIT (Fastrack to Information Technology). See www.fit.ie for more information.
  • Language test for international students.
How long is the course?

One year full time from September to May.

What do I get out of it?

QQI/FETAC Level 5 Certificate in eBusiness.

Where can I go from here?

Upon successfully completing the Business Through Computers course, students may obtain employment in administration positions in an office. There is also the option to progress to a FETAC Level 6 course in Pearse College - Advanced Computer Work Skills (Advanced Certificate in Business).
