Youth Work

This is a new award offered by Pearse College under our Flexi 4 part time programme. The course is aimed at learners who wish to explore youth work with a view to reskilling and also upskilling. It is vocational in nature but also offers the opportunity for learners to improve existing skills whilst also developing new ones.

The course offers a range of modules including Youth Work, Addiction Studies, Substance Use and Communications – all of which are critical in the area of working with young adults.

This course is structured to allow learners to achieve a full award over a number of academic years, taking four modules initially and then building on the award by taking four additional modules at a later date.

*This course is funded by the CDETB and the European Social Fund.
